Ann Sofi and Andreas are Swedish artists who came to Romania as exchange students and now have a workshop in Bucharest. When their neighbour gives them bag of live fish, neither wants to kill them so they are put in a freezer. A few hours later, the fish are still alive, so Ann Sofi and Andreas decide to release them in the nearest pond. The obstacles they encounter bring to light their differing approaches to art, life and authorship.
