The Last in a Line of Fishermen
Den Sista Hummerfiskaren
I have made my way out to the island where I was born. My dad has spent thirty years alone at sea, fishing lobster. He was taught by his dad, who learnt from his dad - a tradition passed down from father to son. My own father had only daughters so the line was broken. At eighteen I left Sweden for Australia but homesickness brought me home after twelve years. So I have returned to the island to see if I can learn what I was not taught as a child. Will the legacy die with me or can I become the family's next fisherman?
